Please note that HR/NY is a 100% chapter of SHRM which means that we require our members to also be members of national SHRM. If you are already a member of SHRM, please indicate your membership ID on your application. If you are not a member of SHRM, you can join SHRM through HR/NY for a discounted combined fee.

SHRM & HR/NY memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable. SHRM and HR/NY annual dues are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes, but you may be able to deduct them as ordinary and necessary business expenses. However, under IRC section 162(e), 7.5% of the SHRM annual dues are not deductible.
