Professional
of the Year
The Human Resources Professional of the Year should stand out as having made a
difference either in their organization or the human resource management
profession.
Any practitioner, consultant or academician who is a member of the Human
Resources Association of New York is eligible. The individual may be a
generalist or functional specialist. The Human Resources Association of New
York encourages and supports the nomination of a diverse pool of candidates.
The Professional of the Year will have demonstrated excellence either by the
highly effective utilization of well-regarded human resource management
principles or by creative and innovative development of new ideas and programs.
The award might be based on either a consistent growing recognition for general
leadership in the HR profession or a lightening bolt-like breakthrough
contribution.
There must be a readily recognizable acceptance factor that the individual does
indeed represent the best in the human resource management profession, is a
role model, and who sets a high performance standard for others and the
profession.
