Overview
The Managers' Forum meets on a regular basis throughout the year and provides a
platform for the exchange of information and ideas on current problems and
developments facing HR professionals. At the group's discretion, the meeting
format calls for either roundtable discussions of topics of mutual interest to
the members or for guest speakers with specific HR expertise. Because the
members of the forum take turns hosting the meetings, the group is limited to
30 members.
New members of the forum must be members of HR/NY and currently employed as a
generalist HR practitioner either as the second level position in the HR
department of a medium to larger organization, reporting to the senior HR
position or the senior HR generalist in a smaller organization, with at least
75 employees, reporting to an executive outside the HR function.
