Women's Issues
Overview
The focus of the Women's Issues SIG is on the business implications of women's issues, rather than simply on the gender issues. We welcome participation from men, as well as women, in gaining understanding and new ideas for managing diversity in today's organizations.

So far, we have held meetings on "Generation X - Attracting, Retaining and Developing the Next Generation of Leaders" and "Men's and Women's Communication Styles and their Effect on Workplace Goals". Future meetings will cover topics such as best practices, leadership, discrimination/harassment and mentoring. We aim to meet once every 2 months and our 2-hour meetings, thus far, have been free to all attendees. We welcome new ideas and new perspectives and try to make meetings as interactive as possible.

If you are interested in being on our mailing list and receiving invitations to meetings, please e-mail either of the co-chairs of the committee.
