Sherman Award
The NYC Chapter of SHRM (HR/NY)'s Sherman Award honors the memory of Harry Sherman, the first President of our chapter and a major supporter of Human Resources education at the college and graduate school levels. The Sherman Award is a scholarship awarded to a student of Human Resources Management who has been the most active and supportive of the SHRM student chapter. Other awards may be available through national SHRM as well.
- Every spring, SHRM chapter faculty advisors nominate deserving students, and the winner is featured in the HR/NY newsletter.
- The award is a $1000 academic scholarship
- Students must be active members of their school's SHRM chapter to be chosen
